Local Dog Training Facilities

We recommend the following local training facilities.  However, we encourage anyone seeking the services of a canine trainer or behaviorist to research the trainer thoroughly and observe a class or two prior to enrollment.  Just as a good trainer--one who is knowledgeable, patient, and gentle--can work wonders in correcting existing behavioral problems or preventing the development of new ones, a less-than-skilled trainer can do considerable damage.  While we strongly advocate participation in obedience classes as the foundation for a healthy and enjoyable relationship with your new pet, it is important to find the right trainer/instructor for both you and your dog.
